TOOLS FOR REMOTE LEARNING - WEBINARS WITH ALICE KEELER
As you will know, given the ever-changing situation with the Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the decision to postpone our annual education technology conference. Since taking this decision, we have been in conversation with our keynote speaker, Alice Keeler, who is not only firmly committed to speaking at our event in the future but also wants to share her expertise and offer advice and guidance to our education community in these uncertain times.
Alice is passionate about educational technology, in particular how remote learning can be used to provide great learning opportunities even when people can’t be together. As we face the possibility that schools may have to close, Alice and the Vital team are keen to provide as much assistance and guidance as possible about how best to use existing technology.
Webinars – Using Google Tools for Remote Learning
Alice will host a live webinar to share tips for using Google Tools for remote learning and give you a chance to ask questions.
The webinars will take place on:
Wednesday 18 March at 10.00am and 3.30pm
Each session will last for 90 minutes.
Alice has set up a Google Classroom to facilitate this experience which you will need to join before the webinar – we will send instructions how to do this once you have registered your interest.
Once you have joined the class, you will be able to see resources and activities which Alice has shared and during the webinar, she will share further resources and practice distance learning techniques.
How do I join the webinar?
Please email email@example.com to register your interest and we will then send you full joining instructions.
Vital.etc 2020 - EVENT POSTPONED
It is with regret that we have taken the decision to postpone our annual Vital Education Technology Conference. The event, which was scheduled for Friday 20 March 2020, will now be held on a future date, to be confirmed.
We carefully considered the implications of the current Covid-19 spread and the restrictions being put in place by a number of organisations and have therefore taken a proactive decision now instead of a last minute reactive one, to postpone the event.
As soon as we are able to reschedule the event, we will contact you and will work with you to transfer your booking to the new date.
It is with a very heavy heart that we have made this decision, however, we feel that it is in everyone’s best interests. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
Please do contact us if you have any queries.
