Providing collaborative tools for learning, Google Workspace can be used anywhere, anytime and on any budget, meaning that teachers and students can work on their own or collaboratively, whether they are at school or at home and on any device.

Our promise

In line with educational best practices, Vital will:

• Manage Google Workspace on your behalf, setting up your domain, creating user accounts and email and setting up Google Drive.
• Ensure that all necessary safeguarding controls are in place and sharing permissions are specified.
• Configure your devices so that each child sees a uniform desktop.
• Restrict apps and manage deployment of extensions for pupils on Google.
• Set permissions so that data cannot be shared with inappropriate external contacts and access to websites is controlled.
• Offer CPD relating to using and keeping up-to-date with Google Workspace.
• Ensure GDPR compliance, working with schools to keep user accounts current, as and when children and/or staff leave.
• Provide Chrome Education licences.

Google Workspace healthcheck

With a Google Workspace healthcheck, you can be reassured that you have the full security, integrity, confidence, and all the added benefits that Google Workspace offers. The healthcheck, which is done remotely, will check your Google Workspace configuration including:

• User permissions and number of users
• Apps and extensions whitelisting
• Access rights
• Restrictions
• Email setup
• API restrictions
• Device setup
• Config security check
• Any other safeguarding issues

We can help if:

• You have set up Google Workspace for your school and would just like reassurance that everything is secure and compliant.
• You have been reliant on a member of staff to manage Google Workspace and they have now left.

Once the healthcheck is complete, you will receive a Google Workspace report, with issues categorised as red, amber or green. We can then either assist you to fix any identified issues or provide you with a  support contract, or you can source technical support from your local provider.

What does a Google Workspace Healthcheck cost?

The healthcheck is offered for a set fee. Any additional technical work or support contracts would be charged as extra. Please contact us for current cost information.

Google Workspace support contract

To assist you with ongoing Google Workspace management, keep you abreast of developments and provide answers to all your Google Workspace queries, we offer an annual, bespoke Google Workspace Support Contract. The contract covers:
