Managed Service

  • Tried and tested, reliable hardware appropriate for education (eg desktop PCs, laptops, chromebooks or iPads) and associated peripherals.
  • Initial set-up, delivery, installation and disposal of all waste and packaging.
  • Seamless support and personal service from an assigned technician who gets to know you and understands your needs.
  • Proactive and reactive technical support with unlimited call-outs.
  • Accidental damage cover.
  • Advice and input on project work including refurbishments and moves.
  • Hardware refresh every three years.

Spread the cost

Our Managed Service means you can easily spread the cost of IT. We will spend time with you to determine your needs and to ensure your education technology fully supports great learning and teaching, reduces teacher workload and ultimately has impact.

You will only ever pay a fixed fee over the contract term, unless you increase or decrease the number of devices you need.

Comprehensive support

We take the worry and hassle away from your school, as we will fully maintain and manage your IT infrastructure. You get the peace of mind knowing that everything you do is backed up by an education IT specialist.

We don’t just supply or support – we are your Vital partner, network manager and extension of your school’s EdTech team. We keep abreast of best practice and will make changes to your systems where necessary, ensuring there is no noticeable disruption. Our comprehensive, speedy service means you will never be without crucial devices.

Complete peace of mind

Your educators and learners benefit from always having current kit which is never out of date through our three-year refresh cycle. In addition to providing complete technical support for your Managed Service devices, we will also support other connected hardware for example interactive whiteboards, projectors, visualisers and printers.

We come to you when you need us – your teachers do not have to spend time on the phone or deal with different technicians each time. We proactively monitor your systems, networks and security, fixing errors and problems as they occur. We push out hardware and software updates periodically and fully comply with GDPR and Data Protection regulations.

Flexible contract

If you decide you need to swap some of your devices during your contract, that is absolutely fine! Likewise, if you need more or fewer devices, the flexibility of the Managed Service contract means that is not a problem either.

How much does it cost?

The Managed Service is priced per device, however, you are not just paying for the devices. Vital becomes your trusted technology partner, providing an all-encompassing management and support solution.
