I have 22 years’ experience in the education technology sector, managing and growing Vital York Limited.
Responsibility for: strategic direction and growth; business and product development; proactive management of streamlined project review and delivery; client liaison and relationship management; and delivery of outstanding customer service across the organisation.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do – client satisfaction is my motivation. I understand how schools, academies and MATs operate and the challenges faced. I am passionate about providing supported solutions which are bespoke, effective, resource-saving and embedded in your organisation’s strategy. I have high expectations of my team and instil in them that customer service is key. I value staff loyalty and am proud that many of the team have been with Vital for more than 15 years.
Major project experience
I have been involved at a senior, strategic level with a number of major projects including recent large-scale projects for Ebor Academy Trust, Hope Sentamu Learning Trust and Pathfinder Multi Academy Trust.
I am skilled in project scrutiny, working with clients to decipher their exact needs and requirements and working with my technical team to find the best solution possible.
I am passionate about working collaboratively with educators to deliver excellent teaching and learning through the embedding of technology in the pedagogical strategy.
My role involves staying abreast of emerging technologies which we can deploy, or modify if necessary, for our education clients. I have excellent foresight and have delivered a number of IT projects in new builds/refurbishments, ensuring that any new solution will work seamlessly for the client. I do my utmost to find a streamlined solution for delivering all Vital projects.
Throughout all previous projects, I have been the senior point of contact, ensuring that clients are kept informed of progress, that they are listened to and that they are receiving a high standard of project delivery. As the linchpin of a project, I liaise between client and technical delivery team, ensuring full understanding on both sides.
I am always available to manage overarching customer satisfaction, service benchmarking, complaints and escalations, project reviews and as a general point of contact for queries.
